The Cognition, Motion and Neuroscience Research Line at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Genova, is seeking a motivated post-doctoral candidate to work in the domain of human social interaction.
The post-doc will work on research projects combining motion capture, psychophysics and fMRI to investigate the neural basis of human ability to read the intentions of others. The goal of this work is to understand how the visual information from an observed action maps onto the observer's motor system and how the intention of that action is discriminated.

Post-doctoral applicants must have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., clinical psychology, cognitive neuroscience) and have demonstrated research productivity and academic excellence.
