The Laboratory of Computational and Statistical Learning (LCSL), a joint IIT-MIT Machine Learning Lab is opening 1 postdoc position.
The project related to the position deals with machine learning. In particular, with deep learning, with an emphasis on theoretical aspects and connections to biological model of learning.
Candidates to this position have a Ph.D. in machine learning, optimization, or related areas.
Research experience and qualification in machine learning/optimization will be a must and evidence of top quality research on the above specified areas in the form of published papers in top conferences/journals is mandatory.
The post doc is expected to publish his/her research results in leading international journals and conferences. She/he is also expected to contribute to the set-up of new project proposals, participate in funding activities, supervising PhD candidates and collaborate with other scientists, also with different (neuroscience) expertise.
Salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience and in line with international standards.
