Fondazione Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia – IIT (www.iit.it) is opening a senior post-doctoral position in optical spectroscopy of nanostructures.
A PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or Materials Engineering is required.
Candidates must have outstanding track record in optical spectroscopy of semiconductor nanostructures and novel materials, such as luminescence, fluorescence, absorption, non-linear phenomena, spatially resolved spectroscopy, low temperature spectroscopy etc.
Consolidated skills in picosecond time resolved luminescence are also required.
The research program aims at the study and characterization of the electronic and optical properties of nanostructures fabricated by different methods, including colloidal chemistry and nanofabrication, polymer structures and new materials.
