The Advanced Robotics Research Line at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) is seeking to appoint a full-time software engineer with excellent skills and experience in software programming.
We are looking for an enthusiastic junior candidate (with at least 1 and up to 4 years of experience) and hands-on skills on the development of software infrastructures and architectures for robotics and automation systems.
Specific skills and requirements of the position include the following:
Any experience/understanding of electronics circuit design like integrating microcontrollers with peripherals will be considered a plus.
The selected candidate will be in charge of the development upgrade and maintenance of the software infrastructure for a range of state of the art robot platforms including COMAN, WALK-MAN, and the under development new versions of these robots.
The successful candidate will be offered a fixed term contract with a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
