One Post doctoral position is available at the Center for Advanced Biomaterials for Healthcare (https://www.iit.it/centers/cabhc-crib-napoli) , Naples,
a research node of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (www.iit.it) for highly motivated candidates in a project aiming at engineering cell instructive materials by micro-nanopatterning bio and topological cues on material substrates.
The Center for Advanced Biomaterials for Healthcare (CRIB) uses cutting- edge and proprietary technologies to engineer biologically inspired materials for applications in the biomedical sector.
Work concerns the design and the optimization of precision 3D micro-fabricated platforms by exploiting advanced mask-less lithography techniques such as 2photon lithography, 2D laser lithography and ICP-RIE.
The project will also address cell behaviour under complex 3D topographies.
The ideal candidate has a consolidated experience in the design of 2D and 3D layout, laser lithography techniques and cell culture. Expertise on chemical functionalization will also be taken in great consideration.
Candidates having a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
The candidate will undertake research activities in laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art technologies including, among others, 2-photon mask-less photolithography, 2D laser mask-less photolithography, ICP-RIE, multiphoton and STED microscopy, SEM, TEM, scanning force microscopy.
Please send your application, containing a motivation letter, the main achievements during PhD and Post Doc period, CV and 2 reference letters to firstname.lastname@example.org quoting "Post doc Naples CB 70469" in the email subject.
