I am currently interested on the synthesis and characterization of iron oxide nanoparticles, and in the functionalization of their surface. the main purpose of my project is to design iron oxide nanoparticles opportuneously functionalized to be used as Ratiometric Magentic Nanosensors for Probing Molecular Interactions. I am particularly interested in the changes of relaxometric properties occurring when letting these systems aggregate or disaggregate.
