Devoted to the surface (bio)functionalization of nanoparticles, synthesis of polymer nanocapsules and of hybrid polymer/nanoparticles systems. An important part of the activity consists in the study of the interactions of the above-mentioned nanostructures with mammalian cells. The lab has several chemical and biological hoods, a cell culture room, and is equipped with various instruments, including the setup for hyperthermia, the DLS for particle analysis, various gel electrophoresis techniques and confocal microscopy.
