Collaborative Environment for multi-robots teleoperation

The most complex case is when several teleoperators have to control several robots.

In such a context, a lot of combinations could appear. One robot could require the coordinated actions of several teleoperators. During the same time, this robot can have to collaborate with another one, controlled automatically, in order to achieve a task defined by a teleoperators that handle groups' actions. One robot can have a system failure so the whole group has to be reorganized, and the teleoperators need to have a pertinent feedback on that.

The VIRAT platform already allows us to create such contexts, so we are defining experiments in order to measure the best combination of interfaces, in order to obtain real-time auto-adapted interfaces according to users' skills, states, feeling, robots' representation and abstraction, global metaphors, human's projection, representation and understanding, etc.
