Bio
Angelo Emanuele Fiorilla got his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering at ’’Sapienza’’ University of Rome in 2003, studying the efficiency of different scheduling algorithms for file server.
In 2006 he graduated (Master’s Degree) in Control Systems Engineering at ’’Sapienza’’ University of Rome defending a thesis on the development of effective methods for the analysis of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) systems’ data.
From 2005 to 2006 he worked for the NeuroElectrical Imaging Laboratory at the I.R.C.C.S. Fondazione Santa Lucia in Rome. During this period he developed offline EEG data analysis tools and algorithms to classify activation patterns on the primary motor cortex.
From 2007 to April 2010 he was a Ph.D. student in Humanoid Technologies at the Italian Institute of Technology / University of Genoa. HisDoctoral Thesis regarded the “Identification of force and stiffness during manipulation in humans” – Tutor Prof.: G. Sandini.
Aside from his academical activities, he also got the Music Theory and Solfeggio Licence (1996), the History of Music Licence, the Music Harmony Licence (2002) and the 8th Year Diploma in Piano (2003).
