Postdoctoral research positions are currently available in our Medicinal Chemistry group. The candidates will play a significant role in our drug discovery projects through the design and synthesis of new pharmacologically active compounds. They will be part of an exciting and international working environment, and will work in brand-new laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation.
The successful candidates are talented and motivated scientists with a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry.
Qualifications
- strong expertise in modern synthetic methods and techniques;
- extensive experience in multistep synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds using modern chromatographic and analytical techniques, including HPLC-MS and NMR;
- good knowledge of common chemistry software packages, search engines, and databases
The successful candidates will be offered a competitive package commensurate to qualifications and experience. The work place is at the outskirts of Genoa, a short drive away from the Italian Riviera and the Alps.
