Bio

Sergio Decherchi obtained the "Laurea" degree summa cum laude in Electronic Engineering in 2007 from Genoa University, Italy. Since 2005 he started collaborating with the Department of Biophysical and Electronics Engineering of Genoa University, where he completed a PhD in
Machine Learning and Data Mining in 2010. His main research interests are computational byophisics and computational intelligence tools for drug discovery and virtual screening. S. Decherchi published more than 20 papers in refereed conferences and journals. He is
Member of the IEEE Computational Intelligence Sociecy and reviewer for several IEEE and Elsevier journals and for the conferences IJCNN, ISCAS and NOLTA from IEEE.
