The Coordination Unit and Secretary's office of the President and of the Offices of the Staff of the President (PCO) coordinates activities that support the institutional functions of the President and his staff, with specific referral to:
- technical and legal matters;
- coordinates the administrative responsibilities of the President and staff and handles the President's agenda and special affairs on his behalf;
- organises the activities supporting the Board, the Executive Committee, the board of auditors, and the Magistrate delegated for inspection by the Corte dei Conti;
- coordinates the flow of correspondence to the Foundation;
- supports the President in coordinating administrative activities that interact with the General Management and the Research Network.
