Tasks

The Board of Auditors monitors the compliance to laws and internal regulations and proper accounting.

Composition

The Board is composed of three permanent members and two temporary members, appointed by the Council. The members are chosen from professionals who are members of the Register of Auditors, or from among civil servants who are experts in accounting.

The members of the Board of Auditors will stay in office for a five-year term and can only be reappointed once, for five more years.
